    Creativity Tips #11-20 for #LDvid30

I can’t believe I’ve finished 20 of these – 10 more to go! I’ve really enjoyed coming up with something each day…particularly trying to correlate with a daily event or a metaphor I’ve come across in my day-to-day living. Most amusing, of course, are all the “fails” from the voice recognition….maybe that will be a blooper roll. Creativity Tips Vlog Series: 1-10 #LDvid30

“Creativity Tips!” Bet you didn’t see that coming. What I am trying to do is keep it raw, going with whatever I shoot in one take. I’m also trying to incorporate a visual in each episode and tap into metaphor a bit. Some topics are influenced by my previous work in this field, but others are totally spontaneous, relating to something going on at present. Make Du Jour: Learning Bird Webinar and Blog Posts

In late January 2016 I was pleased to do a one hour webinar on the topic of “fostering daily critical creativity in the K-12 classroom” for Learning Bird. Linked below is the 3-part blog series I created as a webinar wrap-up. There’s some theory about how creativity works, but loads of practical tips and strategies. By the way – these can be incorporated into your life outside the classroom, and of course may even be applicable to adults. Part I: The Way Back to Wonder Part I

Adobe Edu Ignite Talk: Make du Jour

I was so honoured last month to be a part of the Adobe Education Ignite talk series with some brilliant peers: Rafranz Davis, Kelly Kermode, and Jeff Larson. Special thanks to Thor Prichard for asking me to be a part of it! In my talk I focused on the nature of creativity and how one can cultivate a daily creative habit, as well as incorporate creativity on a daily basis in one’s classroom. Here’s the video: #makerculture #ignite #adobe #creativity #creative #education
