As a little surprise for Dave Wakeling of The (English) Beat, I created this little animated card using his music (plus The Four Tops) and my original sketches. It just so happens that my notorious hot pink, black, and white are also The Beat’s brand colours, as seen in this iconic album cover: and this… I hand drew all the figures and each letter separately on my iPhone 5 in Paper 53 app, then made the stop-motion in Apple Keynote, exporting to Quicktime and changing speed/
