Woke up this morning listening to Yves Montand and thought why not make Saturdays a time to create and share a sketch quote based on a song I’m chilling out to, then attach the Soundfile (either a YouTube or Soundcloud link) via Thinglink to it! Will probably do Saturdays only, but I need creative routines in my life. They keep me on my toes and give me things to look forward to. They also help narrow focus if other things in life are seemingly flying off handles. What don’t you try cultivating a creative routine of your own, with a designated time?

If you want to MAKE YOUR OWN #saturdaysoundsketch here are the steps:
1. Listen to something inspiring (I think it might be cool to listen to something with NO lyrics and draw that!)
2. Sketch what you envision and feel (I use Paper app by Fifty Three but you could use analog paper as long as you can take a photo and digitize)
3. Upload to Thinglink.com
4. Add a tag in the editing mode (I recommend a Play button)
5. Search for the sound file in the search menu – you will be offered YouTubes and Soundclouds – then choose, save, and don’t forget to share out on Saturday with #saturdaysoundsketch
